Washington Plaza

Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a luminous, sculpted wall that creates a sense of mystery. What exactly lies beyond? The answer is a resolutely innovative and forward-thinking business centre, stretching over 47 000 sqm in a building dating back to 1932. The studio was responsible for the conception of a number of different zones; the café lounge 42, wellness and fitness areas, and a 100-seater auditorium fitted with armchairs that also doubles as a projection, conference and events space. Fluted walls, specially conceived for the project, provide a common thread throughout. The atmosphere is cozy and domestic, with soothing dark green tones and the reassuring presence of wood. The graphic black and white flooring in the auditorium is a carpet design created by the studio for EGE, consisting of six different modules that can combined at will to create a variety of patterns.
