A spirit of innovation is central to the studio’s practice, as witnessed by this novel spray-on chrome finish, first presented in a specially dedicated 100sqm space at the Maison&Objet fair in 2020. The installation featured a 8m x 3m wall inspired by the sculptures of Richard Serra. Available to order, it was developed in collaboration with a team of Portuguese artisans. The result is a gradated coating, which can be applied to multiple surfaces, allowing the base material to remain visible and creating magical reflections on its surface. The effect is one where boundaries are blurred and objects appear almost immaterial.
